I Have NEVER Received Plant Orders So Well Protected!

June 17th, 2014

Azelea plants in shipping containerTo everyone who works at Garden Harvest Supply,

I was so happy with my first order that I decided to make Garden Harvest Supply the first site I shop when looking for plants online.

On June 10, I ordered two Bloom-a-Thon Azaleas in red, choosing to ship USPS Priority Mail. Yesterday, June 12, I was checking my email to see if my order had shipped. My husband went out to get the mail and brought me a box marked “LIVE PLANTS.” I thought it was an order from another site that I placed on May 28, and had not yet received. It was the order from your company!

The plants were packaged with loving care and arrived in great condition–the soil was still moist. I have NEVER received orders online so well protected and in such fabulous condition. The plants I received from your company are in better health than plants I have shopped in brick and mortar stores. Sincerely, thank you Garden Harvest Supply for the excellent work you do.

Your Truly, Pamela S

These Are The Best Flowers EVER!

June 3rd, 2014

Neon flowers blooming in plantersI’ve been planting these SuperCal Neon Rose Petchoa Plants in my porch flower boxes for the last few years now, and plan to continue using them there as there is just NOTHING that beats them!  They start blooming immediately when planted from small plants, and fill out so fast with a solid mass of flowers that is non-stop until frost.  They do not need to be dead-headed, are very hardy, and for pots and planters are just the absolute best.  I’ve tried a few colors of the Petchoas, and each of them has a little bit different growing habit, with this Neon one growing the fullest, from what I’ve found so far.  It doesn’t really vine and trail very far, but as you can see in the photo, it turns into a mass of flowering plant. It does actually hang, but does not get leggy and thin; it stays very thick.  My railing boxes here are about 24″ long and I only put four plants in each of them for it turn into this mass.  There were a few purple wave petunias that had come up volunteer in these boxes, which I left in there that particular year, but as you can see the Petchoas really do not need them in there with them.  I’m attaching a photo of them.  Sincerely, Sue V.

Answer: Sue, we appreciate your sharing your enthusiasm and photos, because no one would believe the dense carpet of color and plush foliage these flowers provide, unless they saw it with their own eyes.  Your photo is proof of how these Petchoas perform.  Thanks for letting us and others see the beauty you’ve created for your porchand we’re sure your neighbors are enjoying the view! My First Order From Garden Harvest Supply

May 30th, 2014

To the growers, shippers and others who took part in sending my first order from Garden Harvest Supply, I have been buying plants online since I installed two border beds last summer. I found your business when searching for fuchsia plants. Even though you didn’t have the exact plant I was shopping for, I ordered two of a similar type.

Today, four days later, I received my two fuchsia plants by USPS. The flat shape of the box was unusual for my experience and I thought that it might have been a different order arriving super early, as I order a lot online. Once I opened the packaging, I was surprised. The two fuchsia plants were in a custom made plastic container and were in perfect condition. I am totally impressed by your attention to detail. I order frequently from a competitor and their plants are best described as tiny plugs. What I received this morning was so much more than I expected. Both plants are healthy and over 5 inches tall. I will shop your site first from now on. Thank you for providing such a quality product. Yours Truly, Pamela S.

Reply: Pamela, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate your taking the time to write us, and we’re thrilled you are so happy with your first order!  Thank you for your business, and we hope we’ll continue surprising you by going beyond your expectations.

It’s good to know your fuchsia plants made it there safely, and we hope they produce well throughout the summer months.  Please share photos of your blooming plants on our website and our Facebook page!

Best regards, All of Us at GHS

I Love Your Echinacea Plants!

August 29th, 2013

HI! These are some of my Echinaceas that I bought last year. I have had many friends stop by to see how pretty they are and have told them to order from you, for you have always sent nice plants–some blooming at the time I get them in the spring.  I wrote down your name so they would have it.  I have about 50 of the new ones now. Received the Mums today and they all look very good!

August 20th, 2013

Hello. Just wanted to say, I received the Mums and they all look very good! Genius little containers, too.

Today was planting day for my 120 Mums. As promised, here are pictures of these babies!

120 garden mums planted in my yard

Drip line is installed and working. I still need to lay down redwood bark or something to cover up the ugly drip line, but these are so cute!

Garden mums after planting

I am glad I acclimated them in the shade for a few days before plantingit’s been really hot out here. As you’ve probably seen, we’ve been having a heck of a heat wave lately. The past few days it was 107, but today it was only around 100, and should be cooling down more. The Mum plants did fine today after being planted.

Funny…I came out ONE plant short! There was no mistake on your end; I miscounted the number of holes we dug. So, I will probably be buying another order of a handful more of the Mums in the near future.

Attached are some pictures.

Thank you very much! I am looking forward to watching these babies grow up to be beautiful plants. – Sam

Love Using Jobes Fertilizer Spikes

January 25th, 2013

Hi, Attached are photos of my garden from several past years. The one thing they all have in common is Jobe’s Fertilizer Spikes. I am very happy with the results and will continue to use them. Ray R.

GHS: Ray, we’re really glad you shared your photos with us.  Your raised garden beds are extremely attractive, and they look very well maintained.  The Jobe’s Fertilizer Spikes are clearly doing their job to make your vegetable plants lush and productive.  Jobe’s fertilizers are formulated for each different kind of plant (garden, landscape, and houseplants), and as you’ve discovered, they couldn’t be easier to use.  Their slow-release delivery system lets you fertilize once with no measuring–then forget about it until the next application time.  We congratulate you on your beautiful gardens and look forward to seeing what you grow in 2013!

Jobe's Fertilizer Spikes

Ray R. has shared photos of his gorgeous raised-bed garden.  He’s apparently learned a little about companion planting, as his onions look very happy next to his tomatoes.  His plants have had the benefit of Jobe’s Fertilizer Spikes, which clearly have produced plants heavy with fruits!

 Jobe's Garden Fertilizer

This photo shows just how lovely a garden can be with a little planning, a lot of love, and Jobe’s Fertilizer Spikes to help make plants lush, healthy and productive. Ray R. shared this photo of his handiwork to show how happy his tomatoes are.  He’s a fan of Jobe’s and it’s no wonder why.

Jobe's Spikes Work for All Vegetables

What a beautiful way to garden.  Besides being ornamental, these raised beds are practical in that they’re protected from many pests, and they are easy to maintain, with less bending over.  It doesn’t take very much effort at all to plan your plantings and have a garden this neat and pretty.  Ray R. used Jobe’s Fertilizer Spikes in these beds, and the results are visible:  Those are some healthy and happy vegetable plants!

Those raised beds sure do make access to your plants a breeze.  And they look like works of art, too! The Jobe’s Fertilizer Spikes clearly helped make these plants thick with foliage and there are abundant tomatoes hidden behind all those leavesespecially on the plants at the far end.  Thanks for sharing, Ray R.

Thanks For Your Help With My Eagle Scout Project

December 17th, 2012

Dear Garden Harvest Supply,

I am writing to thank you for your donation towards my Eagle Scout project. The project was completed in August and went extremely well. I could not have done it without your support and the support of numerous other businesses around the community. The project was targeted to improve a park in the Village of Moscow that as destroyed after the tornado in March. I think that the project accomplished its goal and will serve the community well. I have finished turning in all my paperwork and officially became an Eagle Scout Thursday, December 6th.

I am attaching a couple of photos from my project showing how the bushes turned out and helped my project. The project consisted of installing a brand new sidewalk connecting a shelter to the walking trail. We then planted ten Lynwood Gold Forsythia Bushes to add some live plants to create a privacy wall for the park and its neighbors. We then proceeded to mulch the whole tree nursery and the whole park. Finally, we installed bricks from a building that fell during the tornado along both sides of the two sidewalks to act as a memorial to the people of Moscow, with one brick engraved with the date of the tornado.

I cannot express how thankful I am for your donation and help in completing my Eagle Scout project, which led me to being able to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.

Thanks You, Nathan D, Troop 155

Garden Harvest Supply Review

August 27th, 2012

After receiving someone else’s order, Garden Harvest Supply was quick to send me my correct order and even told me to keep the plants I had received in error. My correct order came and the plants looked relatively healthy considering their journey.  They are in the ground and seem to be thriving after a slow start (except for the two lettuce plants that I think were eaten by rabbits or some other critter!)  I will definitely order from Garden Harvest Supply again! From Monica G.

Answer: Monica, we hate it when we get something wrong, but we do our best to make it right and it sounds like we ended on a high note with your order.  Thank you for giving the ‘bonus’ plants a good home.  We hope you enjoy those, as well as the ones you chose.  Thank you for your trust in us and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with you!  Best regards,  All of us from GHS
